My Galleries

I have never considered myself to be an optimist, but I guess I must be one. It certainly helps when photographing landscapes.

Waking up long before dawn is painful at the best of times; standing out in the dark & cold, waiting for the right light, questioning my own sanity. Then quite often back home disappointed with nothing to show for my efforts. Did I mention the cold? Oh well, maybe tomorrow...

Well sometimes tomorrow does come and Mother Nature shows me just a tantalising glimpse of what she can do. My memory must be awful as I soon forget those awful mornings and the cycle begins again.

I hope you enjoy looking at the fruits of my labour, which gives me so much pleasure, (sleep deprivation, cold, chilblains., hyperthermia..).
